LEAVES!!!! Fall cleanup, you always have to find the good in everything and this was the best part of fall clean up this year! More pictures to come.

Gooey Trick or Treater!

By popular demand I am adding this Trick or Treat picture. Jake figured out how to get his candy bar open on his own! He had it gone in about 30 seconds, well almost gone. He did leave a little of the evidence behind!

Future Carpenter?

Birthday's are sooo much fun!

We can't forget his very own chair! Aunt Jacky will be remembered for this one, it has music, lights, and talks to you. Jake loves to sit in this chair and "study" while mommy is watching her favorite tv show! Then we have the birthday kiss! Not sure who had more cake on their face by the time we were done eating.

Tractors!!!

As promised here are a few more pictures from Jake's birthday weekend!

The little man is getting his birthday ride on Papa's big tractor and then later he finds out he got his OWN tractor from GG! WOW, now mastering the art of getting on it by himself because he is a big boy now and can do things himself.

Ok, so I am have been slacking. But we have had to celebrate the little man's first birthday and have his little operation taken care of. But he is ONE year old now and out of the hospital (minus adenoids). We won't discuss the hospital trip, he was not happy about the IV or the blood pressure cuff.....

But here are a few pictures taken over the past few weeks, I will try post more later.

First Hair Cut

Well the little man got his first hair cut today!!! He was so fascinated with what Joanna was doing he forgot to get upset, she even let him wear a Batman cape! I think next time he will be bringing his own squirt bottle so he can have a water fight with her. He is a little water monkey so the misting was just an added bonus for him.

Of course he has to tell her how he wants it cut.... LOL

Go FASTER!

Ok, its been awhile.... Here are a few of my favorites from the past few weeks. Jacob got his first ride on the 4-wheeler, "FASTER, FASTER GRANDPA". And of course he had to tell us all about the ride when it was over. He had a lot to say too! Those little hands and mouth didn't stop for quite a while.
He LOVES the outdoors and anything with wheels and an engine. He is up and running these days, he prefers bare feet - better traction I think.
That is string cheese he is giving thumbs up to, yeah Katie could have shot me for that one. He got a little greasy with that, but he had a lot of fun (the bath afterwards was almost as fun).
I am also sharing what it looked like around my neck of the woods on Saturday, that is a road/bridge under all the water! Luckily by Sunday the water was going down and roads were opening back up. Some are still under water as of Monday morning.

Hodag (What is a hodag?)

Well its been a while, but it's been a busy month or so around here. But here are a few pictures taken last week at Hodag Fest (yes again with this hodag thing). The little guy loves camping and country music, oh and don't forget ALL the attention a little Mini Hodager can get with 20,000 people around! As you can tell, camping was really rough for Jake... He LOVES Reba!!! He even got her to sign his hat!!!!! But dancing and playing patty cake with GG had to be the highlight of the weekend.

Big Firsts!!!!

Hello there everyone this is katie reporting..We have had a lot of big first's lately one of them in wisconsin and GIGI's house we got our first spatula full of whip cream all to ourselves ( thanks to aunt jacky) and we made a BIG BIG mess but i guess there is no other way to do it. Then me and mommy had our first trip to the zoo today....YEAHHH...I loved it sooo much. especially the tigers, monkeys, and the bright african fishes. I had alot of fun and only slept through 30 min of it!! Impressive!!! Well thats all for now we miss everyone so much and cant wait to see you soon!!!

Sick little man

Well the little guy is a trooper! He weighs in at 14 lbs 13ozs and is 24 inches long now. But he is just a little under the weather. He went to the doctor today and he has bronchitis and maybe pneumonia. He is on medicine and has to use a nebulizer (sp??) 3-4 times a day. He is really good about getting the breathing treatments, but starts getting frustrated towards the end. But he is still very happy to talk to anyone that will give attention. As you can imagine that doesn't take much around here. LOL See what happens when Grandma & Grandpa goes away for the weekend....
